IBH Hub: Google user data

This section applies to IBH Hub, Inbound Horizons’ client reporting application, and describes how it handles data received from Google APIs. Inbound Horizons’ other websites and services are covered by the rest of this policy.

IBH Hub accesses Google user data only when an Inbound Horizons client authorizes it through Google’s consent screen. We request access to Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console reporting data (read-only), and to Google Ads campaign performance data and lead form submissions for that client’s accounts.

How we use it. We use this data only to show the client’s own performance reporting (traffic, search visibility, ad campaign results, and lead form submissions) to the client and to Inbound Horizons staff who manage their account. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to develop, improve, or train generalized AI/ML models. Inbound Horizons’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Sharing, transfer, and disclosure. We do not sell Google user data. We do not share, transfer, or disclose it to any third party, except: (a) to the client who owns the data; (b) to infrastructure providers that host and operate IBH Hub on our behalf, who process it only under our instructions; and (c) if required by law or to protect against fraud or abuse. Inbound Horizons staff access Google user data only to manage the authorizing client’s account, for security purposes, or to comply with law.

Storage and security. Authorization tokens and any stored Google data are kept in an access-restricted database, and access to IBH Hub is limited to authenticated Inbound Horizons staff.

Retention and deletion. We keep a client’s Google authorization only while their integration is active. When a staff member disconnects an integration, or a client account is deleted, we revoke our access at Google and immediately delete the stored authorization tokens and any cached Google reporting data. Lead form submissions received through Google Ads are retained as client business records until the client’s account is deleted or the client requests deletion. Aggregate performance figures used for goal tracking (such as totals of clicks, sessions, or spend) are retained with the client’s account until it is deleted. To request deletion of your Google user data, contact us using our contact form, noting that it is a Google data deletion request, or through your Inbound Horizons account representative. We will process deletion requests promptly. You can also revoke access at any time at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions.
